The communication between your head and gut is constant.
Disrupting peace of mind with:
Negative interpretations
Overthinking
Overwhelm
Worry
does NOT promote a peaceful, easy feeling …
The gut adjusts accordingly because lack of ease in the head is simply an alarm. Changes happen automatically because the energy is now required for protection, NOT digestion.
Guess what comes next? Pro-inflammatory hormones
Long term head trips inhibit the full use of nutrients … both macro (protein, fats, carbohydrates) and micro (vitamins and minerals). This leads to health issues from chronic inflammation, pain, disturbed sleep to something more serious.
Your body is on high alert.
Here’s the kicker … the gut microbiome IS considered an endocrine organ!!
The gut lining secretes hormones for hunger, metabolism, satiety, and blood sugar.
The gut biome is affected by medications due to its involvement in their breakdown.
Although medications are prescribed to control and possibly fix health issues, including antidepressants and anti-anxiety drugs, NONE of them support or attend to gut brain communication! The hope is to temporarily silence the problem.
To know better is to KNOW better!
Better is subjective.
I am frequently asked: ‘Will I ever be over this issue?” My response: ‘Yes, IF you choose to KNOW better.’
Knowing better isn’t suggesting you be a smart ass. On the contrary, KNOWING better is about regulating your emotional interpretations rather than entertaining them.
Why are cholesterol levels so high? Because the digestive system is producing pro-inflammatory hormones which means cholesterol is NOT being used for digestion.
Did you know cholesterol benefits the digestive process?

It seems the list varies depending on who’s reporting. However, all of these are in the other lists and I’ll add Ozempic to the mix BECAUSE every single one of these conditions are due to pro-inflammatory hormone production.
The longer you take medications without including essential oils in your daily routine, the more inflammation is produced. Why?
One of the roles of the gut biome is to metabolize medications / chemicals. Unfortunately, research illustrates the negative impact which includes disrupting gut flora balance.
However, this isn’t the case with essential oils when thoughtfully selected AND not ingested.
Because of their chemistry, essential oils can modulate mood, emotions, and thinking while improving the communication between the head and the gut.
However, no two oils have the same effect.
I thought I understood oils before. Yet something inside of me has consistently led me to go further with them. Although an incredible undertaking, the reference book that I’m writing is leading into some astonishing research that uncovers the unique nature of each one.
For instance, you might have one that books, businesses and websites suggest you use for digestion, yet the chemistry has a predominant influence on the brain, while the synergy of another is geared towards the gastrointestinal hormones.
This does not mean their effects are as specific as medications, not in the least. Keep in mind, the brain is reacting to DNA signaling which affects the entire body. Essential oil constituents impact the entire system. However, you want to use an assortment that helps with rounding out the overall benefits.
Blending oils in this manner is an exercise in KNOWING better.
To know better means you KNOW that the body knows how to BE better! It KNOWs how to regulate itself with a little help from Mother Nature.
This is why being choosy about which oils to combine is far better than purchasing a blend that may not be the support your body needs!
